Workshop on “Basics of Decoupage on glass bottles”

IMG-20201119-WA0008The Fine Arts Club of the College organized a workshop on “Basics of Decoupage on glass bottles” at 12 p.m. on November 19, 2020. It was hosted by Ms. Sparsha Mandreker, Teacher-in-Charge & Ms. Preksha Chopdekar, Convenor- Cultural Council. Vice-Principal Dr. Rodney Da’silva delivered the welcome address. Ms. Sparsha introduced the resource person for the workshop Ms. Mayuri Kiran More, Proprietor, Puttul’s Art, and an ex-student of the College. Ms. Mayuri More demonstrated in detail how decoupage is done on glass bottles. Decoupage is the art of decorating an object by sticking colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, and decorative items. The entire artwork was demonstrated starting from the very beginning.

22 participants attended the workshop. Ms. Muktali Kunkolienkar presented the vote of thanks. At the end of the workshop students gained knowledge about a unique, creative form of art viz. Decoupage. Students and faculty members enjoyed the workshop.
