The “WordRacer” Fastest Typing Competition was organized by Future Skills Group under the TechTrendz Club, with active involvement from the organizing committee members Jafney Fernandes, Sherlyn Xavier, Fabiola De Sa, and Agnes Diniz, all from SYBCA, Div A on 24th February 2024. The event aimed to showcase the typing proficiency and speed of students within the Department of Computer Science.
The competition was an individual typing challenge, held in two labs, Lab 1 and Lab 2. Participants were required to type a set of words and phrases accurately and quickly within a specified time frame. The use of typing software was allowed to track the participants’ typing speed and accuracy.
19 students participated in the “WordRacer” competition, showcasing a diverse range of skills and competencies. The participants hailed from different divisions and showcased their typing abilities in a competitive yet friendly environment.
The winners are as follows:
1st place: Amaan Shaikh, SY BCA, B
2nd place: Jesval Fernandes, SY BCA, A
3rd place: Mallik Rehan, TY BVoc.(ST)
