The BBA(Financial Services) Department organized a webinar on the topic “Securities Market: An Overview on Market Outlook” on March 26, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. using Cisco Webex Platform. The Resource Persons were Mr. Jason Dias, Deputy Manager, BSE Ltd. & Mr. Sanjay Nunes, Assistant Manager, CDSL.
In the first session, Mr. Sanjay explained about the functioning of CDSL. He also spoke about the development of depositories in India.
In the second session, Mr. Jason briefed the students about trading in stock markets followed by a demonstration on the live trading screen for the students. He explained about the fluctuations in stock markets and movement of prices on the trading screen. Mr. Jason addressed various queries of the students regarding online trading and investment options. 40 students attended the session.
