The Career and Placement Cells organised a Webinar on “Opportunities in the Banking Sector” on 14th December 2020 from12:00 to 1:00 p.m.in association with the SSE Institute for Central and State Government Examinations. The session was conducted virtually via Google Meet from 12:00 p.m. 27 students participated in the same.
Mr. Sukrut Bhushan was the Resource Person for the session. He started the session by highlighting the number of public sector bank branches and the various upcoming vacancies in these public sector banks. Mr. Bhushan stated that there are immense opportunities that are untapped in the banking sector, and Commerce students have wide scope for tapping these opportunities.
He informed the students that SSI institute provides classes for students to help them crack the online examinations. The institute provides training for Rs. 4,999/- but they offered a discount for the students of Shree Damodar College and they will be charged only Rs. 1,999/- per student. The time period of training is three months.
The session ended with the Q&A session. Students put forward their doubts and difficulties pertaining to applications for the public sector jobs, which the resource person answered to their satisfaction, which the resource person answered to their satisfaction.
