The Department of Computer Science organized a Webinar for TYBCA, SYBCA & SY B.Voc.(ST) students on the topic ‘Git and GitHub Repository’ on 24th October, 2020 from 11.00 am to 12.00 noon via Google Meet. The Resource Person for the session was Ms. Sakshee Agarwal, Entrepreneur, Co-Founder & Project Lead, S.S Technologies, Margao – Goa. The objective of the session was to understand the basic concepts of Git and GitHub Centralized Repository
The webinar started with the introduction of Resource Person by Mr. Sumit Kumar. He briefly informed the audience about the topic and mentioned its need in the project development process.
Ms. Sakshee Agarwal started the session with the explanation of the term GIT and GitHub and also pointed out the major differences between them. She explained the importance of centralized repository in project development process and shared her experience as to how it has benefited her for the project on which she was working. During the session, she gave a live hands-on demonstration on how to create project and collaborate using GIT and GitHub in simple and lucid manner.
The webinar concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mr. Sumit Kumar. Approximately 60 participants (students & teachers) attended this webinar.
