The BBA(Financial Services) Department organized a Virtual Essay Competition under the Investors’ Hub on 10th October, 2020 from 12:00 to 01:00 p.m. through Google Meet.
The competition was open to BBA(FS) students of all classes and 33 students participated. The students were expected to write an essay within one thousand words on one of the topics suggested to them viz. GAFA approach, Predictive Banking with Artificial Intelligence, Payment Innovation trends with Internet of Things (IoT) and Point of Sales(POS), Emergence of Fintech Companies, Open Banking Application Programming Interface Trends and Mega Merger of Public Sector Banks. Students were instructed to submit a plagiarism check report.
The competition was judged by Asst. Prof. Mayuresh Adsul. Mr. Shawn Menezes, student of TYBBA(FS)-A, Mr. Mohav Shet Kurtarkar, student of TYBBA(FS)-B and Ms. Beverly Godinho student of FYBBA(FS)-A won the First, Second and Third place respectively and received e-certificates. Asst. Prof. Trisha Vadil, in-charge of the Investors’ Hub coordinated the activities and she was assisted by Asst. Prof. Ashwini Devari.
