The Department of Computer Science conducted Project Orientation for TYBCA students on 23rd October 2020 from 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Mr. Mohsin Shaikh, CEO Haztech, a young dynamic entrepreneur was the Resource Person of the session.
Mr. Mohsin started the session by introducing the ideas of creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship. His session was focused on impressing upon students the need to be Creative in Thinking, Innovating in doing and that will help them to be entrepreneurs in future.
He insisted that each group of students should take the Final year project as a medium to examine existing problems and find IT solutions to them. Mr. Shaikh advised students to grab the opportunity to learn new technologies through the project they select. He advised students to first decide the topic i.e. define the problem and then decide the technologies to be used.
The 49 BCA students who were present, interacted eagerly with the resource person and most of their queries were resolved. Students shared their ideas on topics they wished to select for their projects and the resource person guided them and expressed his willingness to give students live projects to work on; he also expressed his willingness to guide students.
The session ended with Ms. Namita M. Neurenkar, Asst. Prof. Department of Computer Science expressing gratitude to Mr. Mohsin Shaikh for sparing his valuable time and guiding the students.
