The Department of Computer Science organized its TY BCA Project Orientation for academic year 2024-25 on 10th July 2024 in the Smart Classroom from 11:30am to 1:00pm. The event began with Ms. Shruti Kunkolienkar, BCA Project Coordinator, welcoming and introducing the resource persons to the audience. The Orientation commenced with Mr. Mohsin Shaikh, Founder & CEO, Haztech providing valuable insights on choosing project topics and the various technologies to be used. He also discussed the importance of start-ups and entrepreneurship, encouraging students to consider these paths.
The next resource person Ms. Sharmila Kunde, Technology Advisor, Vidya Vikas Mandal, spoke about VVM Live Projects and the benefits associated. She emphasized that taking up live projects will give recognition not only in college but also after their degree. Ms. Kunde also shared a list of ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) projects that engineering students had undertaken, and encouraged the students to learn new technologies besides undertaking projects in IoT and Data Science.
In the QA session, every project group had the opportunity to ask their doubts and queries. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Shruti Kunkolienkar, expressing gratitude to the resource persons and participants A total of 63 TY BCA students attended the orientation.
