Training/ session in SSC/N9004 – Data and Information Management for FYBVoc(Software Technologies) Students

The Department of Computer Science organized  a training session in SSC/N9004 – Data and Information Management for FY B.Voc.(Software Technologies) students from 25th January to 02nd February 2021 from 09.00 am to 12.00 pm via Google Meet.

The objective of the session was to provide basic and essential training in Quantitative, Reasoning and Analytical Skills as required by the curriculum of Junior Software Developer Qualification Pack. The trainers for these sessions were Assistant Professors Ms. ShankariFondekar and Ms. Meher Rodrigues. The students received their training in the following areas of Aptitude and Reasoning.

  • Time and Work
  • Grammatical phrases
  • Statements and conclusions
  • Data Interpretation
  • Syllogism
  • Logical statements & Actions
  • Graph Analyses

During the sessions, concepts were explained followed by problem-solving and doubt-solving sessions. For every topic, the resource links and questions banks were shared with the students so that they could practice. A test was also scheduled to test the understanding of the concepts. 26 FY B.Voc.and 02 TYBCA students attended the sessions.
