The Cultural Council of the College organized a 5-day Theatre Workshop for First Year students who have enrolled for the Performing Arts Club. The aim of the workshop was to enlighten the students about Theatre Art, to enhance their acting skills and also to develop a spirit of participation in them. The Resource person for the workshop was Mr. Vishnupad Barve and the Teacher in charge for the Workshop was Ms. Prachi P. Kolamker. The Workshop was conducted in two batches from 2.00 to 4.30 p.m. at the GD Auditorium. The first batch was from 2nd to 7th August and the second batch was from 8th to 12th August 2017. A total of 73 students registered for the workshop. The various topics covered at the workshop were voice culture, acting tips, group dynamics, mirror exercises, use of sound, light and costumes. The workshop was well received and appreciated by the students.
