The Department of Computer Science organized “Talentmania” for BCA and B.Voc. students on Sat, 24th October 2020 from 11 am to 1 pm. Before the competition started, the students were informed about the rules and regulations of the competitions. Talentmania comprised two competitions: Reels and Vlogger.
For competition ‘Reels’, the students were asked to make an entertaining video clip (reel) by using audio clips and visual effects. Content of the Reel could be an enacted scene, dance, song etc. For ‘Vlogger’, the students were required to make an informative video clip reviewing any electronic product/gadget of their choice. Through the review students could share their experience of using the product or its pros and cons. The students could participate in any one of the two competitions.
The students were required to submit their video clips in mp4 format via a Google Form between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. on the same day.
The competitions were conceptualized by Faculty Incharge Ms. Akshada Hegde and Ms. Sweta P. Shet Verenkar. In all seven Students participated in the two competitions. This TechTrendz Activity helped to bring out a different aspect of the student’s personality and strengthened his/her social skills. The students got a platform to showcase their communication skills with an innovative and confident way of presentation.
The Winners of the Competition are :
Vlogger – Mr. Ayush Kale (FY BCA) won the first place .
REELS – Ms. Alisha Fernandes (SY BCA) won the first place.
Mr. Stoline Fernandes (SY B.Voc.) won the second place
The Department congratulated the students for excelling in this competition.
