The TechTrendz club of the Department of Computer Science organized a comic scene acting video competition Iconicus Recreatio 2.0 released on 30th April 2022. This competition was kept for all the students of the College. The members of the organizing team were Mr. Prithvi Shirodkar and Mr. Floyd Fernandes from SY BCA-B. 11 students participated in this event.
This competition was to record and create a comedic video clip. The competition was open from 30th April 2022 to 17th May 2022. The participants had to form a team (minimum of 2 members and maximum up to 10 members) and act on any iconic Bollywood scene of their choice. Participants were instructed to mimic & record the video within the College campus and submit the same. The judging criteria were comic timing, acting, expression, emotion portrayal, camera angles and lighting. The judges for this event were Ms. Seema Dharani, M.Com Programme Coordinator and Mr. Andre Pacheco, Assistant Prof., Department of Computer Science. 11 participants made up in 2 teams participated in this competition. The students of the organizing team were guided by Ms. Rajlaxmi S. Nair (Faculty Incharge of TechTrendz club). The Head of the Computer Science Department Mr. Sumit Kumar was also present during the conduct of the event. Overall, this event was a success and enjoyed by everyone.
