The Consumer Cell of the College organized a talk on Consumer Rights under Consumer Protection Act 1986 on 27th March 2019 at 3.00 pm in room no.114. The resource person for the same was Mr. Roland Martins. 40 students from B.Com and BCA attended the talk.
Mr. Roland Martins enlightened the students on various rights which consumers have got under Consumer Protection Act 1986. He focused on the Right to Safety, Right to be Heard, Right to be Informed, Right to seek Redressal, Right to Choose and Right to Consumer Education. He also enlightened the students about the redressal facilities if they come across any frauds with regards to consumer products or services.
