The Department of Computer Science participated in the State level Intercollegiate IT Fest “COLOSSUS XI” organized by Don Bosco College, Panaji on 19th and 20th January 2024. 19 students from the Department participated in the event.
There were diverse range of events like Ice Breaker, Teck Talk, IOT-Expo, Let’s Rescrap, Debate, Bugzilla, Smarticus, Verbal Vortex, Logoworthy, Product Presentation, Webify, Character Showdown, Quiz, C-Carnival, Tech Frames Presentation and Gaming events like Valorant, BGMI, FIFA. Students showcased their skills in many of these events.
Mr. Yogesh Yadav of FY B.Voc.(ST) and Jabez Rodrigues from SY B.Voc.(ST) won the first place in C-Carnival event. Muheet Bhat of TY B.Voc.(ST), Joy Fernandes of TY BCA, Tanay Naik and Sanjivy Harijan of SY B.Voc.(ST), Hayden Teixeira and Glyde Rebelo of FY B.Voc.(ST) won the first place in Valorant gaming event.
All the students demonstrated their best efforts and represented the college with professionalism. The event was well-organized, and the students expressed satisfaction with the overall experience.
