On August 22nd 2019, the B.Com NSS volunteers of the College performed a Street Play highlighting the topic Swachhta Abhiyaan. The street play was performed at several locations such as Colva beach, PimplaPed – Margao and Margao KTC bus stand. The objective of the activity was to draw the attention of the general public to the importance of cleanliness and the need to keep our surroundings clean. The students also interacted with the general public and some tourists near Colva beach, where they stressed upon the need to keep the environment clean and suggested the use of paper and cloth bags, steel bottles rather than plastic bottles, etc. The students were accompanied by NSS Programme Officer Ms. Prachi Kolamker.
