To commemorate the National Cyber Jagrookta Diwas on 3rd October 2024, the students of BCA and BVoc.(ST) programmes under the TechTrendz Club of the Department of Computer Science presented a Konkani street play in the college quadrangle from 10:15 to 10:30 am. The street play raised awareness about critical issues in the digital world, such as hacking on social media, money theft through OTP, and phishing attacks. The play effectively highlighted the consequences of unsafe online behaviour and the need to stay vigilant in the digital space.
The street play was conceptualized and directed by Ms. Rama Borkar, Assistant Professor from the Department of Computer Science. The faculty in-charge of the event were Asst. Prof. Rama Borkar and Asst. Prof. Rakshavi Dessai. 12 students (6 male, 6 female) participated in the performance. The performance aimed to provide students with an engaging way to understand cybercrimes and promote online safety.

Expected Outcome of the Activity:
The primary objective of this activity was to enhance students’ awareness of cybercrimes and emphasize the importance of online safety. Through this initiative, students gained knowledge and practical skills to navigate the digital world in a safe and responsible manner.
