The Department of Mathematics of P.E.S.’s Ravi S. Naik College of Arts and Science, Farmagudi, organized a State Level Comic Strip Competition on the theme “If math could talk” on 5th September 2023. The objective of this competition was to give students a platform to express mathematical concepts or situations in a creative and engaging manner.
Students had to create and submit a comic that incorporated mathematical elements or ideas through online mode using texts, comic elements, characters, stick figures, math-related puns etc.
The competition was open to students of all Colleges across Goa.3 students from SY B.Voc.(ST) namely, Ms. Bhakti Mirashi, Ms. Hema Parab and Ms. Purva Kamat participated in the competition.
The Prize distribution was held on 5th October 2023 in the Swami Vivekananda Hall of P.E.S.’s Ravi S. Naik College of Arts and Science. Ms. Bhakti Mirashi won 3rd place in the competition.
