The Recreation Cell of the College, organized Staff Contributory Lunch on 03rd May 2024 from 01:00 p.m. to 03:00 p.m. at Fish on Dish, Benaulim, Goa. The lunch was attended by both teaching and non-teaching staff members of the College. 35 faculty members from various departments and administrative roles were present for the lunch at the venue.
The objective of this event was to foster camaraderie, collaboration, and a sense of appreciation among the faculty members. It aimed at providing an opportunity for faculty members to relax, unwind, and socialize outside the confines of the workplace. It also intended to strengthen bonds among colleagues, promote a positive work environment, and recognize the valuable contributions of the staff towards mission and goals of the College.
The lunch featured refreshing summer coolers and diverse menu comprising seafood delicacies, traditional Goan dishes, and vegetarian options to cater to the various tastebuds of all present. The event provided a platform to express gratitude and appreciation towards the dedicated efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff in supporting the academic and administrative functions of the College. The Staff Contributory Lunch was a success, bringing together faculty members in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. It served as a testament to the collegial and camaraderie spirit of the faculty of Shree Damodar College as a family working for the Institution. In line with the positive feedback, the College intends to organize such staff engagement activities periodically, ensuring continued opportunities for staff appreciation, interaction, and well-being. The program was coordinated by Dr. Shami Pai, B.Com Coordinator, Department of Commerce and Management and Ms. Lizette D’Costa, Department of Economics & Banking.
