The Department of Physical Education and Sports organised an online Sports Orientation for First Year students of all the Undergraduate programmes on October 24, 2020 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on the Google Meet platform. The objective of the Orientation session was to make students aware about various aspects of sports in the College.
The session covered the following topics:
- Sports infrastructure and facilities available for students.
- Sports allowances paid to students
- Sports Council of the College
- Sports competitions organized by the College – Intra-Mural as well as Inter-College
- Glimpses of the Sports events held during the year 2019-2020.
- Eligibility criteria to participate in the inter collegiate tournaments organized by Goa University
- Inter-College Sports Competitions organized by Goa University
- Sports marks awarded by Goa University for participation in various sports at different levels
- Sports awards of the College.
The College Director of Physical Education and Sports – Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar dealt with all the topics mentioned and Mr. Saurabh Raikar Instructor in Physical Education proposed the Vote of Thanks. 49 interested sportspersons attended this online activity
