The Department of Management Studies organized a Seed ball making and distribution drive by the students of FYBBA and SYBBA. Seed balls were distributed on 15th August 2023 at 8:30am in the College campus. This initiative was to commemorate ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ campaign which aims to celebrate India’s soil. This campaign will honour and appreciate the martyred brave hearts. Hence, the seed balls were distributed on the occasion of Indian Independence Day as a tribute to the brave hearts who sacrificed their life for the nation.
The process of making seed balls involves making small ball-sized mixture of soil and seeds and scattering it in suitable places for trees to grow. Seed ball is a quicker and cost-effective method to reclaim the lost green cover of our environment. It is an emerging afforestation technique adopted worldwide for ecological restoration.
The students enjoyed this seed ball distribution drive. 63 BBA students were a part of this drive.
