The Department of Physical Education and Sports organized a tournament for SDCCE Staff on 14th& 15th November 2022 in the College. 51 staff members participated in the tournament, which had 6 games (4 Indoors and 2 Outdoors). All indoor sports were held on 14th November 2022 & all outdoor sports were held on 15th November 2022.
Indoor sports included Chess (Mix), Carrom(Doubles), Badminton (Men& Women), and Table Tennis (Men &Women). Outdoor sports included 6-a-side Futsal &4-a-side Spot Cricket.
The tournament commenced with the Introduction by Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar, College Director of Physical Education & Sports with briefing of all the rules and regulations about the tournament. The tournament was played on knock-out basis and fixtures were designed by drawing lots.

The Chief Guest for the Prize Distribution was Principal Prof. Prita D. Mallya, and the Guest of Honour was Vice Principal Dr. Edwin Barreto. Ms. Lizette D’Costa was the compere. Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar, College Director of Physical Education & Sports expressed his gratitude towards all the SDCCE staff for showing their interest and participating in different sports. Programme ended with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. Saurabh Raikar, Instructor in Physical Education.
