The NSS Unit of the College in association with the Life Skills Committee organised a Short Film Screening on Road Safety and Understanding Traffic Signals followed by a talk on ‘Use of Road Safety Gears’ as a part of Road Safety Week celebrations. To create awareness about road safety, various short films were screened for the students on 14th January 2020 from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Smart Classroom. Through these short films, students were made aware about the various road signs to be followed in order to prevent road accidents. A session was also conducted for the students on 17th January, 2020 to promote safe driving practices among youth and also familiarize them with using proper road safety gears. Various safety gears were shown to the students and they were taught to identify between those gears that were meeting safety standards and the counterfeit ones. A total of 68 students attended the program. The session was very interactive and created a positive impact on the minds of the students.
