Research Cell organized a talk on “Scholarly Communication” by Dr. Tapaswi Murari, OSD, Goa University on 3rd April 2017 .
The talk was divided in three sessions 1. Selection of good journal 2. Selecting right identity and 3. Promoting of research work.
The talk covered various aspects of journal selection, quality, publisher, print, cost etc. Participants got information on UGC list of journals and new developments. During his presentation he focused on the various important sources to access journals and explained how rating is done by these agencies. In the current research world it is necessary to maintain unique identity for promotion of research work using social media. The feedback given by participants was excellent, they quoted him well prepared, experienced, informative & useful session.
