The 58th A.D. Shroff Memorial Inter-Collegiate Elocution Competition 2024-25 was organized on 14th October 2024 by the Department of Economics, Student Council, and Event Planning & Management Cell of Government College, Borda, in collaboration with The Forum of Free Enterprise, Mumbai.
Participants had the opportunity to select from three thought-provoking themes:
- Digital Infrastructure: A New Strategy to Integrate India
- Has India Arrived on the Global Sports Scene
- Economic Reforms: The Unfinished Agenda
Ms. Shriya Pai, a student from FY B.Com, Div D at our institution, participated in the competition, choosing the theme “Digital Infrastructure: A New Strategy to Integrate India.” She performed exceptionally well, securing the 4th prize among 18 contestants. Her achievement was recognized with a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 250.
Ms. Shriya was guided and mentored by Ms. Pretty Pereira, Assistant Professor in Economics & Banking.
