The NDLI Club in collaboration with the Department of Library & Information Sciences & Readers’ Club arranged a book donation drive for 10 days from 21st to 30th January 2023.Wide publicity of the same was done through the social media handles of the College. The drive drew an excellent response, with 315 donors donating 1147 books. Books such as short stories, Dictionaries, Encyclopaedia, Handbooks, Atlases, novels, etc. in English, Konkani, Hindi and Marathi languages were donated. All the books were handed over to Mathru Chhaya Balika Ashram, Gogol, Margao, on March 30th by the Staff members and students of Readers’ Club & NDLI Club of the College.
Mathru Chhaya Balika Ashram, Gogol, Margao-Goa was very happy to receive these books for their students. Principal, Professor Prita D. Mallya and Assistant Professor Dr. Maithili Naik played a major role in the collection of these books.
