The Institution’s Innovation Council & TechTrendz Club of Department of Computer Science organized a Poster Making competition on the occasion of National Science Day on 7th March 2020 from 3.30 to 5.00 pm. A total of 12 students participated in this competition.
The Poster Competition was on the theme “Impact of Indian Innovation or Scientific Achievement on Human Life”. The 12 students were divided into teams. In their posters the students portrayed the innovations in technology and scientific advancement that has brought about a transformation in the world.
The First place winners of the competition were Mr. Eshwar Gupta from FY BCA and Ms. Sneha Prasad from FY BBA(FS). The second place was secured by Mr. Prathamesh Dessai from FY BCA and Ms. Frilia Goes from FY BVoc.(ST). The Third place winners are Ms. Vaishnavi Kamthe and Ms. Rachana Kurtarkar from TY B.Com.
The competition was judged by Associate Professors Dr. Shami Pai and Dr. Edwin Barreto. The student coordinators of the event were Mr. Vijay Prabhu, Mr. Prateek Faldessai, Mr. Viraj Talekar and Ms. Shehana Dias from FYBCA and the faculty member in charge was Ms. Namita Neurenkar, Asst. Prof Dept. of Computer Science and Member of IIC.
