Students of Department of Computer Science participated in the Annual Tech Festival, “IRIX” 2024 event of CES’s Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) Margao – Goa on 1st and 2nd March 2024. 15 students participated in the event. The events that were offered were Ice-Breaker Webathon, C-Quest, Markup Madness, Finding shark, Error Expedition, Blind Coding, Logical Clash, Into the Unknown, Mind Blitz, Build Genius, Quick keys, DB DUO, Entrepreneurial showdown. Non-Technical events were Pixelate, I-RIX Iconix, Pixel Powerup, Byte beat Fusion, Tech-Glam, Reelscape, Meme Battle.
Students from TY B.Voc(ST), Mr Muheet Bhat & Siddhivinayak Hadapad won the first place in Debate, Siddhivinayak Hadapad and Sidhi Gawade from TYBCA won the business idea event, Rashmi Kullemani from SY B.Voc(ST) won in reel making , Shubh Borkar from SYBCA won in Photography , Shaina Kamat from FY B.Voc(ST) and Shubh Borkar from SYBCA won for markup madness event, Hayden from FY B.Voc(ST) won the ice breaker video event , Treasure hunt was won by Ethan Fernandes, Vighnesh Raikar and Alrid Fernandes from SYBCA, Webathon was won by Khushal and Samidha from FY B.Voc(ST)
Over Our College secured Runners Up place for IRIX 2024 and St. Xavier’s College from Mapusa won the first place. They were given the overall trophy and a cash prize for each event. All the students gave their best and represented the college professionally. The event was well organized and the students were happy with the experience.
