One Day National Level ESummit was organised by R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Matunga – Mumbai on 10th December 2023. The ESummit focused on inculcating the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth. The summit began with the lighting of lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a welcome address by the Principal of R. A. Podar College. Dr. Rahul Mirchandani, Chairman & Managing Director of Aries Agro Ltd. was invited as the Guest of Honour for the event. Dr. Mirchandani addressed the gathering with his enlightening speech focusing on startups and funding avenues available for the same. He encouraged the young minds to innovate and generate unique business ideas.
A National Level Business Plan Competition was organised as a part of the ESummit. 24 students from B.Com, BBA and BBA(FS) attended the Conference. 5 teams from B.Com, BBA &BBA(FS) participated in the Business Plan Competition and presented unique Business Plans showcasing competitive product ideas, marketing strategies, financial viability and economic feasibility of the project. The students were guided and accompanied by Asst. Prof. Ainsley Bernard and Asst. Prof. Sushrusha Naik Khandekar. The ESummit concluded at 2.30 p.m. with the Vote of Thanks proposed by the Principal of the College.
