The College participated in the Annual Career and College Fair 2019-20 organized by Sunshine Worldwide School, Baiguinim, Old Goa for students of Class VIII to XII and their parents. Mr. Sumit Kumar, Assistant Professor, Computer Science and Mr. Mayuresh Adsul, Assistant Professor, BBA (Financial Services), represented the College at the Fair.
The aim of the session was to make students aware of the array of career opportunities available after class 12th and how to make a wise choice from among the options available in different colleges in and outside Goa. Universities, colleges and institutions from within Goa and outside Goa participated.
The Fair started with a visit and enquiry by Class VIII students followed by students of Std IX, X, XI and XII. Std. XI and Std. XII students were from Commerce & Science streams. During their visit to the College stall, the teachers informed them about various programmes being offered by the College along with the details of other activities that are conducted on campus. They were also told about various career options that they can take up after completing Std. XII. The Director of the School and Parents also visited the stall and enquired about the programmes that the College offers and all other add-on courses and activities conducted for students.
The Fair concluded with a group photograph followed by lunch. The students and organizers were quite happy with the explanation and the information shared with them. Queries raised by the visitors were also ably clarified by the teachers.
