Online session on Etiquette as a Life Skill

The Life Skills Committee of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics organised an online session on Etiquette as a Life Skill as a part of a 30-Hour Life Skills Certificate Course for First Year B.Com students on 27th January from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm using the Google Meet platform. The main objective of the session was to make students aware of the different types of Etiquette and the importance of Etiquette. The resource person for the session was Ms. Caroline Stewart Silva, Professional Life Coach.

Assistant Professor Ms. Marjina Shaikh welcomed the resource person.  Ms. Simran Andre, student from FY B.Com B introduced the resource person.

Ms. Caroline Stewart Silva discussed topics such as What is Etiquette? The four magic words of etiquette, The Importance of Etiquette and Manners, Types of Etiquette (Social Etiquette, Corporate/Business Etiquette and Online Etiquette), Why Social Etiquette is important, Common Slip-ups, etc.

Ms. Anupriya  Achari student from FY BCom A delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The 64 students who attended the session, appreciated the efforts of the resource person and said they benefited immensely from the session. Overall, the session was very interesting and interactive. The students participated enthusiastically throughout the session.
