The Career Cell and the Placement Cell jointly organised an Online session on “Career Prospects in the Insurance Sector” on 5th December 2020 at 12 noon via Google Meet. The Resource Person for the session was Ms. Ruhi Chatim, Development Officer, Life Insurance Corporation of India. The Resource person, Ms. Ruhi informed students that pursuing a career in insurance sector is highly beneficial. The best trait or skill required in this career is the speaking and convincing ability as insurance advisors have to help people to understand future needs and risk involved, channelizing their funds accordingly and provide retirement solution to people. The session ended at 1.15 pm. 30 students participated in the session.
