The Career Cell in association with the Placement Cell, organized an online session for students on “Career Opportunities in Law” on 9th November 2020 at 12 noon using Google Meet. The Resource Person for the session was Adv. Prasanna Timble. During the session, Adv. Prasanna Timble highlighted important aspects such as the number of years the students will take to complete the LLB programme upon completing their graduation, different colleges available in Goa and outside Goa to take up LLB studies, and the skills and capabilities required to be a Lawyer. She mentioned the different activities one has to take up while practicing law and also the criteria required to become a judge, district judge, magistrate etc. She also stressed on the various avenues open after LLB or for those who pursue their career in law. 15 students attended the session.
