On the occasion of “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas”, the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Club in collaboration with the NSS Unit of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, organized an Online Quiz Competition from 31st October to 7th November 2024. Hosted via Google Forms, the quiz aimed to raise awareness among students about the significance of national unity and integration, with a special emphasis on the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The quiz comprised multiple-choice questions designed to test the participants’ knowledge about the principles of unity and integrity in the country. A total of 20 students participated in the event, with the winners declared as follows:
1st Place: Sahil Agarwal (FY B.Com, Div C)
2nd Place: Vishaka Shankar Jamuni (FY B.Com, Div D)
E-certificates were awarded to all the 20 participants (06 males, 14 females) to encourage continued engagement in similar activities. The event successfully met its objective of fostering a deeper understanding of India’s national identity and promoting the ideals of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, instilling a sense of pride and unity among the students.
Expected Outcomes of the Activity
The Online Quiz Competition on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas aimed to promote awareness about national unity, and the ideals of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.” It encouraged student participation, enhanced digital literacy, and fostered civic responsibility, with e-certificates recognizing their efforts.
