The Value Education Cell in commemoration of the ‘International Day of Non-violence’ organized an Online Essay Writing Competition for the students of the College on 8th October 2021. The theme of the essay was ‘Youth Empowerment’. The students were required to write an essay in about 800 words on the theme and submit it online. The competition received 11 entries. The winners of the competition are Petalia Coutinho from TY B.Com D and Sarthak Faldesai from M.com Part I. The students were judged on the basis of relevance to the theme, comprehensiveness and creativity. The judges for the event were Asst. Professor Samiksha Vengurlekar and Asst. Professor Stesa Pereira. E-certificates were awarded to the winners.
