The College inaugurated its NSS unit for the Academic year 2023-24 on 5th August 2023. The Chief Guest for the function was Dr. Nitin S. Sawant, NSS Coordinator, Goa University. 167 volunteers attended the function.
The function commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp and an invocation song. Principal Dr. Prita D. Mallya welcomed the gathering. Asst. Prof. Sanjay Velip, NSS PO incharge briefed about the planned activities for the AY 2023-24. Vice-Principal Dr. Edwin Barreto introduced the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest in his address highlighted various societal issues and encouraged the NSS Volunteers to proactively engage in addressing these challenges. He emphasized that their work should be for the betterment of society rather than personal gain.
The program was compered by Ms. Brionna Noronha and Ms. Nidhi Kunde, and NSS PO Ashwina Tari Volvoikar proposed the Vote of Thanks.
