National Voters Day was celebrated on 24th January 2015 by NSS Unit in association with the Office of the District Election Officer / District Collector and Nehru Yuva Kendra .
A rally of 250 students was flagged off at the hands of the District Collector Mr. Venencio Furtardo.
The students who had registered as new voters were presented the EPIC Cards.NSS Program Officers Dr. Manoj Kamat, 
Mr.Vishal Chari, Mrs. Shameen Menon, Ms. Maria Rodrigues, Mr.Andrew Antao and Mr.Mandar Fatarpekar were present at the occasion.
