The BBA (FS) Department of V.V.M’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Comba, Margao recently organized the state level financial fest – Money Matters 4.0 – for Colleges and Higher Secondary Schools on 19th & 20th August 2016. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to exhibit their talents and to help them learn about various financial services in a creative and enjoyable manner. Mrs. Parvish Andani Kamat (Founder of Anka Services) was the chief guest for the inaugural function.
A total of 9 colleges and 7 Higher secondary schools participated for the event, which comprised competitions such as such as Ice Breaker, Stock wars, Best Manager, Corporate Roadies, Ad-Mad, Bizzquisitive, Creativity, Financial Runway. Mr. Tyrone D’Souza (Entrepreneur, Managing Director & Partner at Mobobeat) was the chief guest for the Valedictory function.
At the College level, Fr. Agnel College of Arts & Commerce bagged the First place and Government College, Quepem came in Second. At the Higher Secondary level, Manovikas Higher Secondary School bagged the first place and The King’s School were the Runners-Up.
