S.P. Mandali’s R. A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics, Matunga – Mumbai organized Moneta 2024 from 11th to 14th December 2024. This event featured a diverse array of activities aimed at empowering individuals with financial literacy and fostering a culture of financial management.
Two teams from the B.Com Programme and Management Studies Department of VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics participated in the event, with each team comprising 12 students (15 males, 09 females) from their respective programmes.
The inaugural ceremony was held on 11th December at 6:30 PM, beginning with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a warm welcome to all participants by the Principal of R.A. Podar College. The event featured engaging competitions designed to enhance skills and knowledge in finance, with a total of 13 events taking place over three days. These included Bullring, Merchant Making, Codecrux, Deal and Seal, among others.
VVM’s Shree Damodar College was represented by two teams : “Canarywharf”, comprising of B.Com students and “Business Bay” comprising of BBA (FS) students.

A total of 45 teams from across India participated in the event, making Moneta 2024 a prestigious and competitive platform for students to enhance their financial acumen and strategic decision-making abilities.
