The BBA(Financial Services) department organised the First Mentoring Orientation for the Second Year and Third Year BBA(FS) students along with their parents on 10th August 2019 from 10:30 am to 12:00 noon.
The objectives of the mentoring orientation were:
- To familiarize parents with the various Dept. and College activities.
- To discuss the tentative mentoring activities and duties of mentor and mentee.
- To issue the mark statements of Semesters II & IV.
During the mentoring session, parents were informed about the College reporting time for students, examination structure, attendance and various other activities conducted by the BBA(FS) department and the College such as certificate courses, remedial classes, study tour, guest lectures, entrepreneurship cell, career and placement cell and extension activities.
Students were advised to take the maximum benefit of the facilities that are provided by the College and parents were advised to encourage and support their children.
The parents appreciated the initiative taken by the College. A total of 79 students and 81 parents attended the mentoring orientation. Assistant Professor Ms. Snehal Alve, Mentor for TYBBA(FS) – B, Assistant Professor Ms. Lizia V. Gomes, Mentor for SYBBA(FS) – A, Assistant Professor Ms. Cinola T. Vaz, Mentor for TYBBA(FS) A & B, Assistant Professor Ms. Swati Bhat, Mentor for SYBBA(FS) – B & TYBBA(FS) – A, Assistant Professor Ms. Trisha Vadil, Mentor for SYBBA(FS) – A & TYBBA(FS) – B, and Assistant Professor Mr. Mayuresh Adsul, Mentor for SYBBA(FS) A & B were the mentors for respective classes. The session ended at 12 noon.
