The Student Welfare Cell organized the second Mentee Mentors Meet from 20th to 30th March 2024. The mentoring sessions aimed to identify students’ requirements and provide guidance on preparing for semester exams. Students were encouraged to utilize resources from the Library.
Agenda for Discussion:
- Feedback form
- Exit feedback (TY)
- Special Remedial classes requirement
- Performance of students in SEE/ISAs
- Any other issues
Outcomes of the Meeting:
- Entrance parking area should be cleaned regularly.
- If students arrive late in the morning, the College gate should be opened to allow them to access the library.
- Lack of space for recreational activities due to the multipurpose hall being occupied for cultural activities practices.
- Auditions and selections should be conducted for sending students to external events, avoiding sending the same students repeatedly for intercollegiate competitions.
- Visibility issues with the whiteboard when teachers write on it.
- Students expressed difficulties in practical subjects like FY (Elements of costs), SY (ASO & Income Tax), and TY (DSE papers of Accounting).
- Teachers teaching accounting papers without utilizing the whiteboard.
- Mentees complained about not being considered for intercollegiate events despite having talent.
- Water shortage in Girls Washroom.
- Classrooms are not cleaned properly.
These outcomes will be addressed to ensure a better learning and recreational environment for the students.
