Brief Summary of the Activity:
Investors Hub is an initiative of the Department of Finance BBA(Financial Services) aimed to enhance the finance and investment related awareness and knowledge and promote immersive learning through innovative learning strategies. The first activity conducted under this initiative was screening of an inspirational movie – “Ambani: The Investor”. The objective of this activity was to inspire students by the success stories of legendary Indian business tycoons. The movie greatly present Ambani the Sharp Investor: How a Boy turns Rs. 5 into Rs. 138 in a single day. The boy creates his own opportunity and bears the fruit alone.
The movie was screened for thirty minutes in BBA(FS) classroom which was attended by 40 students.
The students gained knowledge on timely tapping of an opportunity, the essential element of business success. The students have requested to conduct similar activities in the future.
