The Inter Collegiate Taekwondo Championship (Men and Women) of Goa University was held at Jubilee Hall, Goa University from 4th to 7th September, 2019. More than 25 college teams from across the State participated in this tournament. It was a proud moment as our students brought laurels to the College. Anish Borkar and Mohammad Faizaan Shaikh bagged Silver medals, Cresjowell Pereira and Vignesh Bhandari secured Bronze Medals and Yogita Sambhaji bagged a Bronze Medal in the Women’s category. The College Director of Physical Education and Sports, Mr. Ajinkya Kudtarkar was the Manager of the team, while Mr. Mano Shelke was assisting the team. Principal, Dr. Prita Mallya, and Chairman of Vidya Vikas Mandal’s Sports Council Mr. Vikram Verlekar, congratulated the team Captain, Mr. Anish Borkar, the players and the Manager for their achievements and wished them success in the tournaments to come.
