The Inter-Collegiate Lawn Tennis Championship (Men) of Goa University was held at Don Bosco College,Panjim on 15thand 16thOctober, 2019. 10 college teams took part in this tournament. After winning all the preliminary matches against different colleges, Shree Damodar College qualified for the Quarter-finals. In the Quarter-final match, we played against Shree Mallikarjun College Canacona, and won the match 2-0. The Semi Final match was held on 16thOctober, 2019 against Government College, Quepem. We lost the match 0-2andqualified for the third position.
The College Director of Physical Education and Sports,Mr.AjinkyaKudtarkar was the Manager of the team and he was assisted by Mr. Mano Shelke. Dr.Prita Mallya, Principal, and Chairman of Vidya Vikas Mandal’s Sports Council, Mr.VikramVerlekar congratulated the team Captain, Mr. Kiefer Jacques,the players SahilOmanaKuttan, Eshwar Raj Gupta, Warren Fernandes, and RakeshMalageand the Manager and wished them good luck in future.
