Inter- Collegiate Event: Pratibha 2025

VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics actively participated in the inter-collegiate event Pratibha 2025, organized by VVM’s Shree Ramnath Kare College of Law on 31st January 2025 from 8:00 AM onwards. The event provided a platform for students to exhibit their skills and talents in various competitions.

A dedicated team of 18 students (10 males, 08 females) represented the College, accompanied by two additional students for assistance. Demonstrating remarkable performances across multiple competitions, the College secured the Runner-up position in Pratibha 2025. As a testament to their excellence, the team was awarded a trophy and a cash prize of ₹15,000.

The event featured a diverse range of competitions designed to challenge and showcase students’ abilities in different fields. The competitions included Debate, Quiz Competition, Fashion Show, Duet Singing, Dance, Skit, Treasure Hunt, Strong Man, Strong Woman, Table Tennis, Photography and Reel Creation.

The participating students from VVM’s Shree Damodar College were: Miss Poonam Kothari, Miss Vishaka Kumari, Mr. Mital Chari, Mr. MD Fahadullah Javed, Miss Janavi Naik Dalal, Mr. Alrich Fernandes, Mr. Anrich Rodrigues, Mr. Ivon Fernandes Mr. Ebrahim, Miss Manjushri Hiremani, Miss Khushi Shet Dessai, Miss Siddhi Kurraikar, Miss T Kushi Nambiar, Mr. Pratham Pramod Sawant, Mr. Ronak Rupesh Naik, Miss Nitya Bhat, Mr. Samprabh and Mr. Ved Vishwas Prabhudesai.

The student coordinators were Miss Prach Naik and Miss Sunidhi Angle from SY B.Com. The event was coordinated by Dr. Sheetal Arodekar, Asst. Prof. Akshada Gaonkar and Asst. Prof. Girija Gaonkar.

The Pratibha event aimed to foster greater student engagement and enthusiasm through active participation in a variety of competitions. It promoted cultural appreciation and encouraged the enhancement of creative and competitive skills among students. By showcasing talent across multiple disciplines, the event contributed to the holistic development of participants. The achievement of securing the Runner-up position significantly boosted institutional pride and recognition, inspiring further participation in cultural activities and setting a high benchmark for future events.
