For the sixth consecutive year, the Cultural Council organised an Inter-Collegiate Essay cum Presentation Competition ‘Gandhiji- The Mahatma’ – 2020 on 30th January, 2020 (Martyrs day) in the Smart Classroom from 9:30am -12:30 pm.
A total of five teams viz. Rosary College, Navelim, Goa Multi Faculty College, Dharbandora, Carmel College, Nuvem, Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar, and Government College, Borda, participated in the competition.
- The first place was secured by Suhana Rodrigues & Jeevan Naik, students of FY BA, Dhempe College of Arts and Science, Miramar
- The second place was bagged by Rochelle Braganca & Meena Gohil, students of SY BA, Carmel College, Nuvem.
The competition was judged by Dr. Prachi Kolamkar (Asst. Prof. in Commerce) & Mrs. Sheryl DaSilva (Asst. Prof. in Commerce). The volunteers of the Cultural Council coordinated this competition, under the guidance of Ms. Samiksha Vengurlekar (Asst. Prof. in English).
