As a mark of tribute to the Father of the Nation, the Cultural Council since 2015 organised an Inter-Collegiate Competition “Gandhiji- The Mahatma”. The main objective of this competition is to encourage the students to express their thoughts and ideas on the principles of Mahatma Gandhi.
The theme of the competition is always a quote by Mahatma Gandhi. This year – eight in the series – the quote selected was “The future depends on what you do today”.
04 teams across the state were finalized for the competition. All the participants uploaded their essays (soft copy) on the theme of the competition in Google link provided to them.
Ms. Stesa Pereira, Asst. Professor in Economics and Ms. Amba Prabhu, College Counsellor were the judges for the competition.
The 1st place was bagged by team Sabarmati, which was represented by Ms. Ria Vaz, student of Don Bosco College of Agriculture, Sulcorna – Quepem, Goa.
