The Department of Computer Science of the College organized an informal Industry interaction with the BCA faculty members on July 7, 2018. The objective of the interaction was to bridge the gap between the industry requirement and academia by means of curriculum review of the existing BCA Programme and some proposed courses that the Dept wants to introduce in the near future. The following individuals from industry graced the occasion and gave their valuable inputs.

The interaction started with Ms Ekta Agarwal, Coordinator of BCA Programme welcoming the guests and setting up the agenda for the discussion. She mentioned that the Dept plans to introduce PGDCA and B. Voc. (Software Development) to give more options to students seeking a career in IT industry. She also appealed the guests to volunteer to be part of the Advisory Committee for the BCA Programme. The structure of the existing BCA programme and the proposed PGDCA and B. Voc (Software Development) programmes were then presented by faculty members Ms. Namita Neurenkar, Mr. Sunil Naik and Mr. Sumit Kumar respectively. Subsequently each programme was discussed in detail and inputs were shared by the distinguished guests.
