35 students of TY B.Com accompanied by two teachers Ms. Prachi Kolamker and Dr. Vishal Chari visited two industrial units at Kolhapur on 9th March 2019. The motive behind this activity was to give students practical exposure to the concepts taught in the class. We first visited Warna Sahakari Milk Industry situated at Warnanagar, Kolhapur. The students got to see the production line, how machine hours and labour hours are calculated and packaging process.
The second visit was at Manugraph Industries which is into manufacturing of Printing Machines. The students got an exposure to the production line. They were also briefed about the safety week which was observed during the time of visit and how trade unions are working.
The students gave very positive feedback and the trip was very informative.
