During its Golden Jubilee year, Vidya Vikas Mandal has created additional infrastructure in the College to manage digital learning more effectively over the coming months. 7 recording rooms have been created in the newly constructed College block. The recording rooms are all soundproofed and have been equipped with LAN connectivity.
- Uttam N. Bene, Founding Member of Vidya Vikas Mandal and Chairman of Shree Damodar College Governing Council inaugurated the Recording Rooms on November 18, 2020. Present at the inauguration were President – Mr. Nitin Kunkolienker, Hon. Secretary – Mr. Madhukar R. Mallya, First Vice-President – Adv. Pritam Morais, Second Vice-President – Mr. Vinayak G. Angle, members of the Board of Management – Mr. Deepak Chodankar and Mr. Blaise Costabir, Exec. Secretary – Mr. H. R. Kuvelkar, Principal Dr. Prita D. Mallya and Principal RMS HSS – Ms. Cintia Borges.
The College has previously acquired webcams, noise cancellation microphones and graphic tablets as teaching aids to assist teachers in their online classes. Thus, the recording rooms have all the requisite equipment for teaching as well as for the online co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the College.
