An online session on Organizational Conflicts was organized in the subject of General Management for the students of FY B.Com on November 27, 2020. The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Prasad Tokekar, Sr. Vice President – Employee Relations and Compliances for Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail. The session began at 10:00 a.m. and 54 students attended. The compere for the session was Asst. Professor Namrata Haldankar. The session began with Principal Prof. Prita D Mallya welcoming the virtual gathering. The resource person highlighted the various kinds of conflicts that normally arise in organizations and the basic causes of such conflicts. He also shared his own experiences of how to solve such organizational conflicts. The main objective of this session was to give students an insight into how organizational problems are solved at the workplace; thus, students could relate the conflict resolution methods they learn in class with the application of the methods in practice. It was a very interactive and a fruitful session. Asst. Professor Dr. Madanant Naik proposed the vote of thanks and the session ended at 10.45 a.m.
